Thanksgiving Point Employee Membership


Thanksgiving Point Institute is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit farm, garden and museum complex that draws upon the natural world to cultivate transformative family learning.

We need a  Busser/Food Runner for our upscale restaurant at Thanksgiving Point, the Harvest Restaurant.

 

Responsibilities:

Bussers Set up bussing area, buff plates and glasses, refill guests' water, clear away dirty plates, and dishes, sanitize and reset the table quickly, assist serving staff during shift.

Food Runner Set up expo line, organize and quality check food before loading onto the tray, communicate between front and back of house.

Must be willing to fill both positions.

Shifts Hours and Days Required: 

Monday through Saturday 4:30 pm 10 pm, three to four shifts a week.  Saturdays are a must, Closed Sundays.

Skill Requirements: 

Must have great guest service, communication, and computer skills.  A positive attitude and professional appearance are also required.  Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure.  Previous restaurant serving experience is preferred but not required.  Willing to train the right individual.  Must be able to carry heavy trays for several hours.
