Thanksgiving Point Institute is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit farm, garden and museum complex that draws upon the natural world to cultivate transformative family learning.

 

Responsibilities: Will be responsible for greeting guests & managing guest needs including, but not limited to, rentals, memberships, and event needs. Educating guests regarding policies and enforcing policies when necessary. Will be expected to keep work area clean and care for rental equipment. Excellent money handling skills required and must be able to balance a till.

 

Shift hours and days required: Approx. 15-25 hours per week, Monday-Saturday, holidays and Saturdays are required. Closed Sundays. Shifts vary depending on events, AM and PM shifts available.

Seasonal beginning March 13, 2017, ending  May 6, 2017 Skill requirements:

We're looking for fun and upbeat people who can help with Tulip Festival extras. Must have a pleasant, outgoing personality with excellent guest service skills. Will be required to work alone as well as part of a team. Cash register and money handling skills are a must. Must be able to lift 30 pounds. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to work outside. Other duties as assigned by manager. Education requirements: Previous guest service experience is helpful but not required
