Thanksgiving Point Employee Membership


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Works under the direction of the Set-Up Manager in all aspects of event and banquet set-up operations including: set-up and tear down of property events, invent tory of Thanksgiving Point assets, and upkeep of Thanksgiving Point facilities relating to events.  Interacts with multiple departments on-property.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The Banquet Set-up position is a physical demanding position.  The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100+ pounds.  Employee will lift crates, chafer, furniture, AV equipment, decoration, etc., as required for room set-ups and special events. 

 

SHIFTS HOURS AND DAYS REQUIRED;

Open availability with flexible hours.  Day shifts: 8:00 am. To 5:00 pm.  Night shifts: As needed per events.  Saturdays: Varies from week to week

 

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to listen and follow direction.  Be teachable and willing to learn new tasks on the fly.

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or Equivalent
