Thanksgiving Point Employee Membership


Thanksgiving Point Institute is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit farm, garden and museum complex that draws upon the natural world to cultivate transformative family learning.

We need a part time waiter or waitress (server) for our upscale restaurant at Thanksgiving Point, the Harvest Restaurant.

Waiter / Waitress Responsibilities: Will provide complete and exceptional table service to guests of the Harvest Restaurant by following Harvest Steps of Service.  Will be responsible for informing guests of all menu items as well as daily specials and take ownership of all guest's needs.  Will take beverage/food orders, anticipating guest's needs, pre-bussing, setting up dining room and server station in preparation for current shifts and next shifts, performing running side work and end of shift side work, helping to maintain and clean dining area for a better guest experience.  Must have a current food handler's permit.

Waiter / Waitress Requirements: Must have exceptional guest service skills and a good disposition and be a good team player.  Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure, be able to lift 30 pounds, be and be able to be on fee at least 5 hours each shift.  POS Micros Experience is a plus but not necessary, prior serving experience is a plus. 

Waiter / Waitress Shifts: Monday - Saturday 10:30 am - 3:30 pm (Lunch Shift).  Monday - Saturday 4:30 - 9:30 pm (Dinner Shift) Looking for open availability.
