Purpose:  Prepare, decorate, and store all bakery and pastry items served in various food outlets, maintain the bakery, pastry reach-ins, and dry storage. 

Responsibilities:  Completing task lists provided by the Pastry Chef, creating and ensuring completion of task list for bakers, assuring that the quality of the food is up to the set standards, maintaining bakery workspace cleanliness and organization, maintaining a sense of urgency during entire shift.

Essential Functions:  Assemble and decorate cakes and pasties, maintain the quantity of the food based on set pars, maintain the quality of the food based on the set standards, maintain a clean workstation and kitchen, maintain strict control of food waste and correct storage.

Requirements: 2-3 years experience in all aspects of pastries and breads. Must be able to lift 40lbs. Must be able to read and execute recipes in English. Must understand a variety of cooking techniques. High School diploma or equivalent needed.

Shifts: Monday- Saturday 30-39 Hours a Week
